Common questions
How do I create a facility account?+
Facility owners register on our website. Once your account exists you can sign in on the web and in the Symptone Care apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.
How do caregivers sign in?+
Caregivers do not need an email address. They use the Caregiver tab with your facility company code (shown on the Staff page), their username, and the PIN set by their manager. After five wrong PINs the account locks for 15 minutes; a manager can unlock it.
Does it work without internet?+
Yes. Everything is saved on the device and syncs automatically when the connection returns. The status pill at the top shows whether you are online, syncing or up to date.
I forgot my manager password.+
On the sign-in screen choose "Forgot password?" and we will email you a secure reset link.
Is our residents’ data private?+
Every facility is isolated at the database level and other facilities can never see your records. See our Privacy Policy for details on how information is collected, used and protected under POPIA.
Delete your account and data
A facility owner can ask us to delete the facility account and all associated data at any time:
- In the app or on the web: Settings → Delete account & data → Request account deletion, or
- Email info@sweetphoenix.co.zafrom the facility owner's email address, with your facility name.
We confirm the request by email and then delete the account and its data. Records we are legally required to keep (for example financial records) may be retained for the legally required period, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Caregiver PINs are set by your manager on the Staff page.
Works offline and syncs when you are back online.
